Yes, I was at the Busch race at TMS, they are soooo loud, I think they have some sort of jet engine, maybe not a jet engine, but something like it. I saw the one catch on fire, the fire on the track was really cool looking.

When to Lowes Motor Speedway in 2001 for the all-star race and the bottom fell out about 2 laps into the race. The year they let Gordon,Waltrip & J.Burton bring backup out to finish the race with. Sit there for over hour hearing then go by. Jet engines can be REALLY loud.

When i went to the 2005 Pepsi 400, they had a rain delay and the had one of those jet dryers go by, so yes

Um.....yeah. While working Flag Station 2 at The Glen. Spent the next 2 weeks spitting out kitty litter, & waiting for my ears to stop ringing.
BTW, they sound like jet engines because they are.

Yeah, they are loud and if you're not careful you'll get crap blown in your face. At Martinsville I sat close to the track (needless to say I upgraded my seats for October) and while I did not come out with rubber all over me, I did end up with all sorts of debris in my eyes that I had to keep wiping out!

Yea i have seen and heard them go by many times, they are very loud and can really blow dust or oil dry so be prepared.
