so like when a rap singer sings about "popping a cap in some cop's a$$" or "smackin' up all his b!@#%es", and then he wins a grammy for that song, he usually says, "first of all, i'd like to thank god..." don't you think god is a little less likely to allow someone like this into heaven, regardless if he believes jesus is his lord and personal savior?

We all sin, just because some people's sins are more public, or considered "worse" doesn't mean they are any less holy in God's eyes

God forgives all...but you bring up an excellent point...I often wonder this as well b/c I am a Christian and I swear like a sailor...so even though I have accepted Christ and pray to Him and try to live for Him...will I be accepted? Does He truly forgive me for my less than perfect ways? If this rapper has accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior yet he continues to rap about such things does our Lord truly forgive? I don't know...I guess you have to ask yourself, when your day comes and you're on bended knee at the feet of our Savior...have you truly led your life the way the Lord would have expected you to? When He asks you if you're worthy of walking in His kingdom, can you truly answer "yes" with confidence?

The Bible says that "No one can pluck you from his hands" and therefore a person who is saved may still sin-and does sin. They will more likely suffer consequences for their sins since God chastens those he loves. Just because someone says "I'd like to thank God" does not mean they are saved. In the end times they will say Lord, Lord, believing they are saved when in fact the Lord will tell them "I do not know you"

According to the Christian Bible, one is not to judge lest he be judged. It is not for man to judge, but for his God to judge.

And again, I am grateful to be a practicing Pagan. I simply fail to understand the need in so many Christian circles to judge others' actions all the time.

I do, however, believe that regardless of one's faith, they do not achieve a blissful nor happy after life until they have earned it, and that measure is taken by a Higher Power, not by mankind.

I agree with you. I wonder which God and which Jesus this guy gives thanks to?

God says in the Bible, "Be holy, because I am holy."

"As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." 1. Peter 1:14-16

Also consider what Jesus said here:
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Matth. 7:21

God cannot LIE (Titus 1:2); cannot CHANGE (Malachai 3:6); cannot be willing for sinners to PERISH (2 Peter 3:9); Cannot TEMPT anyone to sin (James 1: 13- 17); Is always the SAME (James 1: 17 & Hebrews 13:8) and He is limited to LOVE, since that is who He IS: (1st Corinthians 13 for description of how love/charity operates, then 1John 4:8 & 4:16)..., and He is NOT limited to our human interpretations of WHO He is or HOW He operates or TO our judgments of Him. Get to know Him and then make a decision based on actual relationship and fellowship..., not fear and mis-information. What other people say is rediculous sometimes regarding God and how they demonstrate their beliefs in their daily walk, but they don't answer to me or you, so pray for them to get a clue like you have.

Believing in Jesus, don't get you into heaven. Out of a mans mouth proceedth forth the things of his heart. Gods not in the mans heart if he talks about such things. Hes just got a thought about Jesus. He ain't saved.

I believe that all music is from God but the lyrics tell if the song is for God.

Judgment belongs to God.

It is time that you discover Me,

that you discover yourself,

of this confusion.

At the origin of your History was God. But the Eternal One had always been there, for He has no beginning and no end. He is Immensity, Infinity, not Created. In Him, His Only Son and His Holy Spirit were and are. It is the same God. It was through His Word that God spoke and it was His Son, who is in Him, who came down from His Father's side to become the Incarnated God. He was named JESUS Christ, YHShWH. Truly, God remains One by adding the Three Persons who is God the Eternal, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Out of something real, do not make a Mystery. In this Bright Light which was God, were also the One Son and the Holy Spirit: One God in three Persons. All was Light, for all was in that Light before coming to the World. In this infinite Light was God.

THE FATHER says to you: I AM in this Eternal Light that covers all, that contains all, that includes all. The first occupants are those forming this God of Love who is Father, who is Son, who is Holy Spirit. God is One in Three Persons.

But the Father and the Son send the Holy Spirit who always precedes Them. For the Holy Spirit who is Lord and gives Life, proceeds from the Father and the Son.

The Eternal Father contained in Himself His Three Holy Persons as well as the whole Universe with His complete Creation. When you speak of the NOTHINGNESS, understand that God is Everything and has Everything in Him. Nothingness exists when God withdraws.

My first "Delivery" was that of the Universe which was in God as well as everything else. All of My Creation had its hour of Glory: it knew its Creator who brought it forth. It came like every created thing, from the Bosom of its Creator.

All My Creation remembers and will remember Me

who Am Father and Mother at the same time.

Expelling from oneself a child to be born on the Earth, does not give that child the right to forget his Creator and Father, and his parents chosen by God for this birth. For everyone and everything comes from God. Amen.'
