I'm buying a new computer and the one I have currently has a lot of downloads and pc games on it. Is there any way I can transfer them to the new computer?
Also when I install my pc games on the new computer will my saved data on them show up on it or will I have to start over?

You'll have to install all the downloaded programs and games on the new PC.

As for saved game data, they're usually stored in a folder. Just search through My Computer > C: > Program Files > Game Manufacturer > Game and looked around there. Just copy that folder onto a USB thumb drive or a CD and put them on the new PC in the same place.

You can connect the pc's via a router or crossover cable and copy files over. Or you can put the old hard drive in the new pc as a slave and copy files over. Lots of games save files in My Documents and various places so you really have to look for each game

You'll have to start over. (unless you transfer all of your stuff from the harddrive, but it takes forEVER and don't even waste your time..) If you have like music or data just save them on a DVD.
Hope this helps :)

If you have Windows XP, you can use the File and Setting Transfer Wizard:
