I am trying to gain some weight back. Well, more like 10-15 lbs. I am starting today with my working out and eating alot more. I was wondering if there is a pill that I can take with my meals that will help my appetite pick up more and help with the weight gain. But I dont want to it to get out of control. I want to be able to work out and tone as the weight comes on.

I am 5"6 and 120lbs, right now. I want to get back up to 130-135lbs. I have always been petite..all my life 105-115lbs until I got pregnant in 2003. Then i was 145 lbs, but could not get comfortable with all the new weight, so I stopped eating and lost 20 lbs. Now, my body has gotten condiditioned to not eating and not that I want to gain some back, its hard.

So is there anythign I can take with my food or drink? Or certain types of foods that wil lhelp me gain that wwight back?

Go to a Sports place and buy some protein shakes. These make you gain a whole lot of weight. They are used for gaining weight and then working out and turning the weight into muscle. Don't work out so you will just gain some weight. But I don't know anyone that dosen't like being underweight. Especially a girl. :)

I seriously doubt that there is something healthy to gain back the weight in 30 days. If there is it is very unhealthy and could cause you more harm than good. I would try kicking up my exercise routine and as your body is using more calories it will increase your appetite. Stick to the food pyramid. Try eating things with carbs in it like pasta and the like. Stay away from high fat foods. When you stopped eating your body was feeding on itself. It takes time to gain weight as well as lose weight. Starchy foods like potatoes and breads will help but don't skip the proteins. It may be helpful to contact a doctor so they can tell you what you ideal weight is versus the weight you think is correct for you. Above all be careful you could cause more harm than good in the long run.

I don't recommend pills unless the situation is truly dire. But I do agree that you could use a little more weight.

Try eating more protein. And eat small snacks a bit more often. Don't worry about gaining more weight in 30 days or so: That's not really healthy for you, and it will put stress on you that will make your goal that much harder to attain.

Another thing you can try is drinking more water: A lot of people, when they lose weight, don't lose it in fat. Instead, it comes out in water, which you really need to keep.

Good luck!
