This guy who sold me my phone has stalled my transaction so that he can still keep in contect, which is annoying financially but kinda sweet. He called me the other day and asked if he could take me out and I sort of laughed it off...what should I do?

Interfering with your phone purchase - sounds controlling. If he wanted to ask you out he could have done so without "annoying you financially."

It is not professional to keep your information when he is selling something....... That is wrong. If he wanted to ask you out, he should have said so at that time. I would call the manager and report him. That happened to me on a layaway I did several years ago. He got my phone number off of it and called me 3 days later. I called the manager of the store and told them. He did while he was at work too. If he had my phone number, then he could use my credit card number too.

I would stay away. He probably has done it with several others. Not good.

That is pushing it a bit on his part. He should just come out and speak with you about it, not do anything with your transactions. If you are comfortable going out with him, do so. It is your call.

I think you should be careful. This is not "normal" behavior and he is trying to establish a type of "control" over you. If someone is interested in you they let you know and then you decide. This is almost holding you for ransom.

Sounds like a stalker control freak. I would not recommend dating this guy.

Well, that all depends on whether you want to go out with him or not - which you don't give us a clue about so hard to say.

If he's hijacking your finances in order to get a date with you then I'd say move on. I'm sure he's bordering on doing something illegal and it's creepy.

You're obviously smitten with the guy or else you wouldn't even be considering it. Accept.

What do you want to do? Strangers shouldn't be telling you how to live your life...if interested then go out, if not then politely decline.
