I went to Red Lobster on Tuesday nite last week. I ate a lobster and snow crab legs. Wednesday nite I started to feel hot and I had a fever of 101. Thursday nite I had a fever of 103.5. I was taking Cold/flue relief medicine and aspirin but nothing seems to help. The lowest my fever went down was 99 in the past five days. It is usually around a 100 throughout the day. I have no other symptoms and I feel fine in the mornings. Any idea if I should go see a doctor or what kind of medicine I should try? Or is it going to go away by itself? I dont feel sick and I dont feel like I have a fever at all.

usually a fever lasts only hours or 2 days.....a fever CAN last weeks, in low grade....if a fever is over 101, and lasts more than 2 days straight, goto a doctor for some antibiotics....other symptoms do not matter, as they may or may not affect you as a person....if your fever is still over 100 after today, go in for som meds. a common flu is a 3-5 day even....unless its the 24hr flu.

You need to call your doctor. You get fevers when your body is trying to fight an infection. Go to the doctors! They may just call something in for you, but at least call them and tell them the situation. Its unusual to have a fever with no other symptoms. Call now!

well some times the food at restaurants is tainted! like the case at taco bell! when cow dropping got on their onions and people got sick! this is probably a similar case from your red lobster! go to the doctor immediately and tell them! if they find it was becuase of the food you can get money by suing them! lol

well, if I had had a fever that high, I would have gone straight to a doctor, now however your fever remains low grade, so it is your call whether or not you see a doctor.
