First of all check on line to see if you can apply there. If not, there should be an address for a corporate office. Send your resume with a cover letter saying you want to work in N.Y. Besides travel agencies or the airlines, how about seeing if there are any tour companies with jobs available. You may be able to go on tours to Italy and assist the people that way.

I once worked with a German lady. When she retired she ended up working for a tour company. She did not want to travel much as she wanted to stay home and see her grandchildren, etc. But when there was a tour in Alaska (where we live) of German citizens, she went alone on the tour and helped with the language barrier. She loved it. She worked mainly during the summer but really could have worked much more often than she choose to. You could choose to work for more than one tour company and would be assured of working more often.

Good luck with this.
