Christians: you are all baby-eating evil doers who will burn in hell for all eternity!
Atheists: you are all mindless sheep incapable of a single intelligent thought who only believe what you've been told!
I'd say it's pretty even.

not backwards, I meant that's what they say to the others. I should have put the quotation marks around the statements.

I'm not on either side of the fence. I believe in a God, which makes me irrational by atheists standards, but not heaven/hell/salvation, which makes me evil by Christian standards. Gotta love it.

lol baby-eating.
Indeed, the debate gets pretty retarded at points. All it eventually boils down to is a bunch of children asking loaded questions to get angry responses. I've tried to find a place online that hosts a balanced and logical comparison between Christianity and atheism, but i have yet to find one. The only sites out there are blatantly one side or the other. I'd go so far as to say some of the atheist sites are just as radical and intolerant as the religious sites can be.

i'm helpful we are all conscious no longer all athiests are like that and a few savor an open, truthful, sort debate. besides the undeniable fact that, i hit upon maximum discussions on the information superhighway are no longer very sort. it sort of feels the common format for communicate is being impolite whilst rarely addressing the priority handy (advert hominem). That being pronounced I certainly have heard some quite undesirable arguments from the two sides even while they're being well mannered. i could nonetheless want that undesirable well mannered debates over the less efficient call calling suits. With seeing a million extreme high quality debate to ten advise ones, what sort of effect will that have on our minds? which will finally let us know that's the conventional format and you may desire to confer with 'needless to say-incorrect-side-A' utilising this tone in this way. that's additionally in movies, video games and on television. So regrettably this format is right here to stay.

yeah I think you're right. I like it best how some members of both groups completely deny the integrity of the other:
Christians: it is not possible not to believe in God. It is obvious in so many ways he exists. Atheists are just tricked by Satan into believing God doesn't exist.
Atheists: Christianity doesn't even make sense. How could anybody even believe that stuff? If any Christian is even honest to himself for a second he'll admit it's nonsense.

The purpose of any religion is to refine the character of man and to make him tolerant and loving towards all mankind.
This spirit may have been lost with the passing of centuries for the religious people.
Therefore the "guilty" would be the religious people in my opinion, who lost their purpose.

The atheists say I’m delusional.
My fellow Christians say I’m not a real Christian because I don’t agree with everything they say. (I assume the going-to-hell part is implied if you’re not a real Christian.)
I just smile and ask God to give peace to them all.

So, what side of the fence are YOU on?
I don't think I know of a single Christian who has eaten a baby. If Christians are wrong, then there is no fear of an eternity in hell, so I guess that would make YOU safe.

I say it is about even. If you can't attack the argument, then people go after anything to draw attention away.
