I have Proactiv and it doesnt work that well for me. School starts soon and I want my face to be beautiful. My mom will not take me to a dermotologist so what stuff can i buy at a drugstore that will claer up my skin?

Ok, depending on your skin you might want to try not using harsh skin care... I would start with a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil (creamy) avail. at the drugstore.. Witch Hazel/cotton pads/ball...Moisturiser for your face type.. Wash your face 2x a day, swipe with Witch Hazel. it's alcohol free and it gets remaining dirt/grime off.. it's also really cheap ! Apply moisurizer... See how your skin is after a week.. You might find that your skin was enflamed from using harsh products.. If the pimple problem still persists- get an acne wash.. Also, try keeping your hair off your face at night. I use an old t-shirt sleeve... I'm older, but I thought I had roscesa(sp), but when I started just using a gentle cleanser/moisturize it went away. after dealing with bad skin I have realised it isn't what you are putting on your face in terms of product, but what you put inside you internally! I love dairy and used to consume a lot of it, then I heard that it can clog up your skin. I went on a dairy free diet and now my skin is much better! Also, making sure you drink lots of water is vital. its different for everyone but i suggest you see some sort of dietitian or naturopath rather than a dermatologist, and see if the problem is internal rather than external.
