I have the same problem, I think it is from wanting to please everybody else all the time. If he can't pick, take the lead and see a movie you will enjoy. He will like you making the decision. It's shows that you know what you want. He can choose next time. If 1408 is the movie I think it is, he should like it. I watched it and couldn't take my eyes away from the tv.

my personal opinion on this is that he wants you to choose the movie because he wants you to be happy. Most of the time if a guy picks a movie it is for two reasons, he wants to make out during the movie, or he really wants to see it. Take the fact that he is letting you choose to be a good thing and just choose!

Yes, definately, choose a movie you would like, and be honest, don't worry wether he likes it or not and don't try to pick one you THINK he'd like, he'll like just spending the time with you. It's nice that he wants you to pick, it's a good sign that he's not a controlling person and he cares about what you like. What's the worst that can happen, he doesn't like the movie, so what, that'll give you something to laugh about and it will give yyou a reason for him a reason for him to pick the next movie!!!

He could care less about the movie. Its the point of taking you to one. If the movie sucks, oh well, he still got to spend time with you. Pick something funny (License to Wed) or scary (Captivity, 1408) good date movies.

Choose the movie. One of the most annoying things to some guys is when women don't or can't make descions themselves. If he's asking you to choosing, he's at least thinking of your feelings and wants first. He could just say, let's go see "Transformers".

Always try to pick a movie that BOTH of you might like. If you stick with the classics you usually can't go wrong. Sometimes award-winning foreign films can be pleasantly surprising, and sometimes surprisingly sexy - which most men like! And you could ask him what he wants to see, and if it happens to be one that you want to see too, then pick that one and you both "win".

I have the same problem...What I like to do to compromise is say this..."okay, I'll choose, but you narrow it down for me"...He gives you a few selections, and you go from there...That way you both are really choosing...

Go ahead and choose the movie. if he wants you too more than likely he knows there is a chance he won't want to see it. but maybe that just shows he doesn't care if he doesn't want to see it, he just wants to be with you.
good luck!
