You should ask this question in a forum where you will get answers that are strictly confined to competent, professional responses from physicians and radiologists.

You won't find that on Yahoo Answers. Here, you risk getting, incompetent answers, ignorant answers, or "humorous" answers.

You need a serious, competent, professional answer - go to your radiologist, or your doctor.

My young daughter received 125 mCi of radioactive iodine and I did not kiss her for a week. Now, I realize kissing your husband is quite different than a daughter, so I would give his physician or the hospital a call. Since the RAI will be present in his saliva, I would especially careful. It's not a silly question at all, so give the nuc. med. dept. at the hospital a call.

I am shocked that no one advised you about this. Did they tell you what to do about your urine? Call either your primary physician and ask for a reference or else call the radiation therapy dept and ask immediately to speak with someone who knows. So sorry you have to wonder
