It is not against the law, but the courts have ruled that it gives probable cause for the police to stop you.

At road blocks they always have a few cars up the road to apprehend those that turn around to avoid a DUI Check Point.

The answer depends upon where you live and who owns the club. You need to gather facts before you can make a move that might be effective. The County or Parrish courthouse or department of land records is the place to start. Who owns the land where the club is situated? If the owner is into local politics or related to the chief of police, you are going to have a harder time getting a suitable resolution. Next you will need legal help. It is possible that the activity is legal depending upon the corporate limits of the city, town or village or the County or Parrish in which you live. Some localities have strict alcohol consumption and noise laws and others do not. The police are law enforcement offices. They must have a law in order to act. If you cannot afford a lawyer, look for legal help on-line. If no law is being broken, you have several options, but they all begin with organizing the neighborhood. You might submit a proposal to your local government, news media or others. A group of people might make it easier to pay for legal help or someone might know a lawyer who might at least help. If a law is being broken, then start with the local chief of police, county sheriff or even the office of the state's attorney. This might be a matter of jurisdiction (which is one of the reasons to get legal help). The final option might be the news media. Newspaper, radio or television, it does not matter. Look for a reporter who loves to fight for justice and has a reputation for staying with a problem until resolved. Document everything possible. Get the general public involved. Photographs, video, audio recordings and notes on activities may come in handy later.

It is absolutely 100% legal. But know this, every state in the union will have a "chase" car set up to watch for people doing just that. You WILL be chased, and stopped. By running, you just gave probable cause for a search of your vehicle, too. Not a good idea. A roadblock is just to check license and registration, so better to go through it than buy a bunch of other trouble.

As long as you don't mind paying the ticket for an illegal u-turn. They WILL see you turn, and they WILL pull you over. And when you tell them that you didn't want to waste time going through their roadblock, they WILL make sure that you are kept on the side of the road 5 times longer than it would have taken if you had gone straight through.

in most states it definitely is...not only for making an illegal turn but depending on the situation, it could be attempting to elude a police officer and a handful of other little state statutes. roadblocks are an inconvenience, but trust me, it's no picnic for police officers. you never know when you might have seen someone that struck you as odd...and turned out they had murdered someone and your little bit of info could help track them down and get them off the streets. or, look at it this way - who cares if it's an inconvenience...it's still against the law and if you have nothing to hide, then just go through the roadblock, drink you latte while you wait to inch forward and quit your snivveling!
