Believe it or not, I had this exact same problem. I got help from a guy by the name of David Sexton. In just a couple of weeks he talked me through the problem all over yahoo messenger. He's a little expensive but, its well worth it because he gives professional advice. He's a PhD or something and he wrote a book about guys and girls dating. He's on yahoo answers too, gelwel22 is his sigh in. just type it in the search for questions box and his answers will pop up. If you really want results and you don't mind paying for it he's the answer. I hope this helped, it did for me.

Participate in the activities you enjoy. Go to the library. Go to concerts. Go to the park to study. Go to a church you enjoy. Talk to ladies you see in book stores, the library, and at the park. You are very young. There is no hurry. Love will find you, probably when you least expect it.

Maybe with all this things you are learning, you should have learned to pick someone up. Maybe go out sometime at places where people conjugate and find someone who is willing to start out as a friend and let it bloom into something more.
