Now I'm racking my brains!!! I remember Panthip Plaza - bought some memory cards there, spent hours looking around! I don't remember anything on that scale at all in Istanbul though. The main two shopping centres were Akmerkez and Capitol (which is on the Asian side). I think there were some shops selling all the usual electrical/technological goods etc.. nothing like Bangkok though!

Hi Oli,

There is no Panthip Plaza in Istanbul,
We have Teknosa and Bimeks or Vatan Computer...

istanbul has a number of shopping centres including the biggest in Europe second biggest in the world.Shopping is not cheap if you buy quality products it can be more expensive than Europe.You can of course find cheap copy products but buyer beware,
