I would think if a "believer" does not think about, question, study and ponder upon his beliefs, he hardly deserves to be part of that system. Being born into a belief does not make people qualified in religion. Sad that FEW religious people actually study their text and beliefs but rush to arguments like scholars, calling others "nonbelievers".

You can waste so much time questioning God / Doctrine that you spend less time "being" in Christ. That is not good! Some things are not meant to be understood, for this is truly a test of how genuine our faith is. Are we going to continue on and concentrate on those things that we do know so that greater revelation will come? We are to trust God who is all-loving, all-powerful, all-knowing, and who never keeps us from true understanding if our hearts are right with Him. We, as Christians, main purpose on earth is to point the others to Jesus Christ, not dispute doctrine.

That is where Atheists are more better than the blind believers. Every thing has some logic in its position and had an importance in those times, which we don't have any significance in present time.
Like we have 10 incarnations of God on earth which has a scientific significance, but these blind believers simply say it is as it is but never see the logic.
The logic actually shows the evolution of Humans.

Lord only knows. So much gets misunderstood on here, things get taken like you never intended. We all really should make a conscious effort to remove our preconceived notions when answering questions and keep these things in the realm of assumption rather than fact.

Because nonbelievers frequently question old doctrines. Believers tend to blindly follow them.
If you're a believer who is starting to push back against some of the more obvious supersitions, then good. Hopefully, that leads you to rejecting all of them.
Good luck

Well, long standing doctrines are usually based on morals, righteousness, and fairness.
Do you just seek change because you want change? Or do you wish to insert a new set of moral values?
People are misunderstood often, like Rosie O'Donnell. She beats on the Christian religion all the time. Does she wish to destroy it? NO. She wants it to conform to her new set of rules. Quite simply that is her goal. She wants to force change to suit her lifestyle and that is just a fact.

Its not that they think you are a non-believer they just try to teach the truth. We go by Bible only no pagan holidays or anything. And then we leave it up to the person if they want to become a witness or not.70 percent of our studies don't become a witness but they are happy they found out the truth.

Because believers feel no need to ask questions. Only doubters and non-believers ever question any system of thought. Therefore if you ask anything, people assume (usually correctly) that you either doubt, or dont believe

Because those "folks" can't comprehend the possibilty of critically analyzing their faith. They follow blindly, not really knowing WHY they believe what they believe. I'm a strong Christian, but only after thorough analysis as to why... not just because someone told me to and told me not to question it. THAT'S A CULT!!
