Who are the goodest people(in general)on earth,
i think christians are,especially catholics,followed by other proper religions.

Are goodie athiests real or imaginary considering that athiests have no reason or incentive to be good.
How do athiest know they are good?
If athiests actions are anything to judge them by they are bad,especially on yahoo answers.

First may I inform you that there is no such word as "goodest" you should say best. The best people on earth follow the Golden Rule. :Do onto others as you would have them do to you

I don't think the 'goodest' people are those measured by religion, but those who are truthful with themselves.. and no, I am not an athiest.. I am catholic - how many of those are convicted of child molestation? MANY!!

There really isn't anything that is so black or white in this world.. we really do the best that we can with what we know and experience.. full stop. We are imperfect beings and we all have trials through life regardless of any measure.

I would say the saints in this world (regardless of any religion) are those who have tolerance and those who practise non - judgement. But I do reckon people who deliberately set out to harm others are pretty much evil.

How do you know you're good? You don't sound like Jesus to me. Jesus would never have spoken this way to anyone, unless it was some uninformed little upstart. So, what made people good before god came on the scene, i.e. the written bible? And don't screw with the chronology here. Such pat answers won't work. Jesus came up with his own answers. Remember him writing in the dirt? Writing in the dirt doesn't help you figure out moral or spiritual issues. What did he write? Religion does not a good person make. People who really care for others make good people. Does what you have said show that you care for others? Then by your definition, doesn't that make you a bad person?

I'd have to say the GOODEST are ones that use real words. See you may think it's a fine word, but it's not a word sorry, don't blame me for your substandard education. You expect to be taken seriously, yet you use a word like that in your question then get angry like a child when someone tells you its wrong

Atheists have very good reason to be good - because they care about people. I don't do good to be rewarded by a supernatural being, I do good because I care about those close to me.

I don't think this can be a serious question, you're just looking for "oh, how good us christians are, much better than those nasty atheist meanies". Well, no can do.

Let's operate on the idea that God gives Christians gifts, or "talents" if you will. Among those gifts is the ability to use language. Imagine a Christian who neglects those gifts, failing to develop the ability to use language. I wonder how God feels when this Christian takes God's gift and throws it in the trash.
