My ex still lives with me and i told him he has 30 days to find a place. He is taking all of this very hard. But atleast im giving him time so he has somewhere to go and time to save money. thats fair warning right??? or am i wrong?

If the place you are living is yours, meaning you pay the rent or mortgage, and he does not share an interest in it, then yes, I think it's fair.

no thats fair a landlord only gives that so i think its fair but maybe i could be easier on him seems he is taking it hard and if maybe he needs a few more days after that month you cud give it to him but make sure he is gone within 6weeks coz then he is just pushing his luck with u

that's more than fair. In my state, landlords only have to give 20 days notice.
I'd give him to the end of the month.
