Hard contacts are hard and made of a plastic material, soft lenes are made mostly of water. I've worn both and I love hard lenses. Hard or Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses are a little more difficult to get used to but the vision is much sharper than with soft lenses. Soft lenses are much more comfortable. But if you have a lot of astigmatism, sometimes the vision won't be as good with soft lenses. 2D

Just that: hard contacts are made from a hard, inflexible material like glass, while soft one are made from space age polymers that are, well, soft. Hard ones are generally tougher to get use to because you know they're there. Soft ones are generally more permeable, and because they are more comfortable, are easier to forget about and leave in for too long. This combination can be dangerous because they can become cesspools of infectious agents if they aren't cleaned regularly and properly.

I have actually worn both, currently wearing hard lenses. Hard contacts are usually prescribed to people with deeper prescriptions probably -7< if you are near sighted. Hard lenses are smaller in size, generally between your iris and pupil in diameter whereas soft lenses are generally larger in diameter (diameter wider than your iris). Most people wear soft lenses because they are initially A LOT more comfortable to wear and are a lot more easier to adjust to. Hard lenses are like it's name, hard! They are a lot harder to adjust to because naturally your eye wants to get rid of such hard objects in your eye and will produce tears rapidly in attempt to get rid of the contact (when you first try them). It is not a pleasant experience at first I must tell you. After you get used to wearing either of them, it's very simple to place them into your eye. As in price, both are generally similar in price depending on what kind of contacts you get. Some soft contacts are more expensive than others and generally hard lenses cost around$190, depending on where you are. Either way you go, you will see crystal clear in both and when it comes down to sight, you'll see the same way out of both. I hope this helped!!

Depends what your question is about.
I know that hard contact could be when you hit a person/an object hard.
Soft contact could be when you touch person/object softly.
Hope that answers your question.
