No.
That bit of prose, while it sounds nice, doesn't really say much. Each person has to figure out what their own purpose is in their own life, and no cute bit of poetry is going to work many.
Love is an emotion. We'll feel that off and on no matter what. And there are things we shouldn't really embrace.
Be surprised? Done. The world is varied enough that this isn't usually a problem.
Give thanks and praise to who? I usually reserve that for those who deserve it. Empty thanks and empty praise don't mean much.
And you can do all of the above and not be "fulfilled". Some conflict is usually required to drive people, and it is not always a negative thing. It can be a positive ambition to solve a problem. You seem to think like the cartoon characters in "Ren and Stimpy" who run around shouting "Happy, happy, joy joy!". It is overly simplistic. Simple is good sometimes, but too much is dull.

Maybe it is but I doubt I will ever know.
I cannot love wholeheartedly. Except for a very few people, it is not in me anymore.
Because of life, I don't think I want to either.

That's a very modest proposal on how to have a life of fullness and completeness. what about exploring, experimenting, being bold and rising up to the challenge? Your quote only suggests a life permiting to staying meek and being thankful and grateful for what you have, not that there's anything worng with that, but sometimes you don't feel complete unless you go out and be bold.

Those things may help, but no. Discipline, education and the ability to deal rationally with adversity need to be on that list. ( And I'm sure there's more but it's quite early.)
It would apply better for someone living a sheltered existence, maybe in an ashram...

Yes. It's really quite simple.
The problem is we're complex creatures with heads full of minutiae - the trick is to get rid of as much of that as possible.

I think it depends upon whom you are loving and to whom you are giving praise and thanks. As far as being surprised, I am surprised all of the time at what goes on in this world and sometimes this makes my life sad rather than full.

Even easier. We must "simply" give ourselves back to a state of wordlessness.

Loving wholeheartedly is not that easy, neither is giving thanks and praise .... but yeah, that about sums it up.
