My Daughter's bday is coming up. A small gorup of 4 yr old will be in attendance. I know at least one boy is allergic to milk and eggs. I really do not want to bake a dairy free cake myself. It will be a hot Sat early 10-12. I think i may be o.k not doing cake. What can I do that the kids will be just as excited for? Sorbet..Jello with gummy fish? ( under the sea / mermaid theme fyi)Novelty popscicles. But what else? Something else? I've seem a recipe for a watermelon cake usuing real watermelon and cool whip. Is cool whip dairy/egg free? I know I can just do a reg . cake. Most Moms with kids with allergies bring their own treat. Since it will be only about 6 I'd prefer for everyone to be included. Someone will have a great idea I can feel it!!!

Rice pudding made with soy milk.
Also consider that if you need a milk substitute you can probably get away with soy milk or goat's milk. Soy can be a big allergen too, that's why I suggested the goat's milk. Goat's milk may need extra sweetening, but it should still be well tasty, and the kids won't know the difference.
Also fruit salad, I've always loved fruit salad because it was served to me growing up, it's always refreshing on a hot summer day, and lacks a lot of calories of other desserts.
Another lower calorie treat is fondue or fruit in chocolate. Fondue I guess is a bit much for 4 yr olds, so try the fruit in chocolate. Buy some baker's chocolate, semi-sweet or bitter-sweet(not milk chocolate for obvious reasons, and because it'd be too sweet for fruit). Then melt it in a bain marie, dip in fruit that you've prepared and wiped off excess juice, strawberries being a perennial favourite for people of all ages, but you can go nuts, just about any fruit works. After they're dipped chill them on something non stick, I'm thinking wax paper for this one.
Remember that dessert doesn't have to be high in sugar, dressed up fruit is always good, and healthy for kids. You can also cut the fruit in fancy ways, which I'm sure you can find a lot about online, the kids won't even know it's healthy.

Cool whip...not so much on the dairy free. You could do a fruit plate, those cool frozen fruit pops, popscicles, You could make like a Rice Krispie cake. You could make it in the shape of a cake and just maybe do some type of fondent design on it. (in strips so the whole thing isn't covered since I think you have to use icing to apply it!)
Also...try googleing some recipes =0)
Good luck!

Something kids always like would be a simple snow cone. That is definitely fun for a kids birthday party plus it is easy to fix. Other than that I can offer you a cake - eventhough you said you didn't wanna make one!
SNOW CONE TOPPING
Combine 1 packet sweetened tropical punch flavored drink mix ( 4 ounce) and 3/4 cup water in squeeze bottle; seal and shake well to blend. Squeeze over shaved ice.
and here is the cake recipe!
Egg fre, Dairy free, Nut free CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Mix well with a fork, then stir in oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract. When dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened, pour in cold water and stir until batter is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a rack.

Get some juice out of ur fridge and then have some ice fozen. Get that out to. Grind the ice and put the juice in and put in any thing else you might think might help =) Well i tried my best hope this works.

Don't punish your daughter b/c one of her party guests has a bunch of allergies. Make a regular cake for her. Along w/ the ice cream, also offer sorbet or fruit ice (not sherbet).
Jello Jigglers would be fun for everyone, cut into fish or shell shapes.
Rice Krispy treats would also be fun, esp. if cut into shapes.
