i read that it is scientifically proven that guys and girls often fall in love with people that resemble theyre parents ( the dad in case of u being a girl , the mom if u'r a guy) i know it's sounds strange , but i thought about it ...and my girlfriend kinda reminds me of my mom lol ...
so what do u guys think?

aw c'mon.

There's an old song with a line that says "I want a girl just like the girl who married dear old Dad..."

or something like that. Since parents are their childrens' first and most impressive models of adulthood and adult behavior, its not surprising that many people "marry" their mom's or their dad's "twin"...

i think theres def some truth behind it, most people subconsciously are attracted to people who have charactersitics that they admire most in their parents. its pretty natural really, we spend so much of our young lives looking up to our parents, they raise us, the hand down their values to us, their habits, tastes... it kinda makes sense that we go for the same kind of people.
im really like my mum, we are quite close, and so im not really surpsrised that im attracted to the same kind of men she is.
