A Romanian convict's legal action against God failed.
Pavel Mircea, from Timisoara, who is serving a 20 year sentence for murder, launched legal action against God two years ago. In his claim, he stated:"God and I closed a contract when I was baptised and God did not respect his part of the deal." And he demanded compensation for all the money he spent on candles and church services which he claims did not help him either. But the prosecutors have decided to drop the case after two yhears. A spokesman said, "We could not find God's address." (TOI)

Two of my favorite cases were similar to this. In one (England), a person called God as a defense witness. Apparently the whole court waited a day for him to show up, and when he didn't the person was acquitted.

In the second (US, ) a person sued Satan and his staff, but the court claimed it couldn't find him to serve him with the law suit and wasn't sure it had jurisdiction anyway (he might be a foriegn prince/have diplomatic immunity.) The judge said the plaintiff should try suing in New Hampshire since that was his last known address.

In the Bible there is an example of someone asking God whether or not he [ God] was doing the right thing. It was Abraham asking God would he save Sodom and Gomorrah if ONLY five good men could be found. To a degree, Abraham won, even though the cities were destroyed because God found none in the city worth saving.
No one can win against God if they state they are AGAINST his laws...and commandments.

Here in New Orleans the person charged with five murders last year was just set free because prosecutors could not locate the one witness.

I can lead Mr Pavel Mircea to God's house if he wishes to
come with me. But he should really believe and keep his
side of the contract and should be able to prove it in public.

They should come and see me. I would have told them God has been staying within them, in their hearts, without them knowing it.

To answer your question, yes...it's bizarre.

I didn't believe it at first. I googled it and ends up it's true.
