Taking birth control and having your body expell an otherwise healthy embryo because it can't implant in your hormone induced thin lining of the uterus or go with natural family planning and risk that you might screw up and do the do on a fertile day.
I'm aware of all the birth control methods ( I'm currently on the Nuvaring) I've read and studied many sources on the matter. Finding out that most birth control methods can abort embryos from implanting by creating a hostile enviornment is heart breaking as I have been on birth control off and on for 11 years. I'm beginning to think birth control is murder in the same sense that choosing to have a pregnancy terminated as an option for getting rid of a baby you don't want.
I'm scared that if I use the Natural Family Planning method I will misread my body's symptoms of being fertile. I'm 24 and have 3 kids already, work part-time, and school full-time. My husbands has 2 full time jobs. Its hard enough as it is! Which method seems right?

I want more kids but he said he doesn't. I've tried to make a compromise and suggested he get sterilized. But now he's telling me he would mind having kid another in a few years, which makes me happy but still brings up the matter that I might be aborting some embryos while waiting for that day to come or doing natural family planning and having a baby when he's not ready, therefore making him unhappy and stressed.

no offense. you have a part-time job, go to school full time. your husband has 2 full time jobs plus you have 3 kids.
when do you have time to think about sex? and why should you?
and your 24! i'm 36 married with 3 kids and i don't have even half of the stress you have!
take it easy before you make yourself older before it's time to get old!

Given every thing you are going through right now, I would think it wise to stay on the pill at least until you are done school. The stress of exams can through off your cycle, increasing th risk that you will become pregnant.
What about using a condom with extra spermicide, or with the addition of a female condom. As the other answerer said there is also always sterilization for hubby.

Instead go for tubectomy than to adopt half-sure methods.

Consider using a barrier device contraception (ie condoms, diaphragm, female condom etc) so that conception doesn't occur in the first place. :)

he can get a vasectomy.. don't risk killing off what could be your child. could you really live with the guilt of knowing that you might be killing one of your children? think of the children you have now. how would you feel if you know you may have willingly killed one of them? support life. its a gift. =)
