Depends on your walking speed and which direction - Glasgow Queen Street Station is slightly uphill from Glasgow Central Station!

The National Rail website allows 30 minutes for the transfer (I think the person who decided that was walking backwards on one leg!)

ScotRail recommend a minimum of 15 minutes for the transfer.

If you are reasonably fit, then you can get from one to the other in ten minutes. Allow more if you are not fit - especially from Central to Queen Street.

The route is not straightforward for strangers.

Leave Central Station by the main Gordon Street entrance. Turn right and then left at the traffic lights. Turn right at the next set of lights into St. Vincent Street and continue until you get to George Square (you can't miss it!) As you enter the Square, Queen Street station is to your left on the other side of the square.
