Sweetheart the wonderful thing about Christianity is that if you were ever a born again christian you still are. You have simply strayed. Jesus loved you so much he died for your sins and you are still covered in that precious blood. Just keep praying, believing and you will be well and whole again. You must continue the hard work of getting clean and staying clean and I will definitely be praying for that. Let's pray now.
Most gracious heavenly father we come now before you confessing our sins and asking for your forgiveness. Lord please be with this precious child of yours as she battles against these addictions and most importantly Lord help her to see and understand that you are right beside her, that you love her and want to see her succeed and most importantly that you never left her side and will receive her back to you as a clean, whole individual. We thank you in advance for your mercies and the miracles that you will work in her life. In Christ's name amen. God Bless sweetheart and hold fast to the Lord he is your rock and your salvation.

If you have accepted Jesus as Savior then you are a Christian. There is no work involved in that and no amount of trying will get you any closer to God than you already are. Read your Bible and get to know God through prayer and study of His word. Invite the Holy Spirit into your heart and keep your mind on God at all times. I will pray for you and don't forget that Jesus did all the work.

The thing is you are always close to God, how can you not be. You would have to be bigger and stronger, and you not.
The hardest thing in life is the idea that we can some how separate ourselves from Gods love, and compassion. It is always there, but we often close our eyes, and decide that we are not worthy.
Instead of trying to get closer to him, try to stop moving away from him. Trust that you don't have to earn his love, you just have to stop doing things that make it hard for you to experience and see his love. It is all ways there!
Where in your life can you see his beauty and perfection. Make sure you keep yourself near those things, that you surround yourself with things that remind you of his love.
If this is what you want, then you will also choose to distance yourself from things that take you away from seeing his perfection like substance abuse!
You are not bad, you are loved, you are wonderful, and you have the light of the source of creation within you, strengthen this light and all darkness will disappear. Just like when you turn the light on in a room!
I pray that you discover the light at your core, and share it with the world! We need you to!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! That is awesome, that you chose to turn your life back to God. Just remember the Lord says Come as you are! I am in recovery too, I go to a church that has a celebrate recovery program that is awesome. Try reading the Bible, Celebrate Recovery, it is much easier to understand than the average BIBLE. Good luck, you can do it, you have already started the process!
Oh and dont worry we pray for each other in recovery, at least as often as we remember.

Of course I will pray for youto gert the help you need and that you can achieve your goal of getting Closer to God andimproving your lifeand relationship with God, but you need to pray too and then show him you are serious byputing your words into action. All the best wishes to you May God bless you.(Numbers6:24-26)

Dear Sweet Heavenly Father,
I lift up desikawa, you know her real name and her heart; Lord, she's seeking after You and Your Word promises that when we seek You with our whole heart, we will find You.
Holy Spirit touch her; help her to accept the forgiveness the Father so freely gives. Help her to remember that the price Jesus paid was once, for all. Help her to forgive herself, and to rise up above feelings of guilt or shame.
Guide her back to repentance, Father, and as You promised, when she comes to You for forgiveness, cast her sin as far as the East is from the West and rejuvenate her - I pray that she would *feel* as fresh and clean as You see her.
Thank you, God. If we turn away from our sin, You are faithful and just to forgive. Thank you for NEVER leaving or betraying desikawa, and for weeping with her when she's hurting.
In Jesus' Holy name,
Amen.
Now it's your turn, desikawa - if you don't have a Bible handy, to to www.crosswalk.com - look up Psalm 91. Soak it in. Then go to Jeremiah 29:11 and meditate on it (chew on it; run it through your mind; dwell on it).
If you want someone to talk to, drop me a line. I'll be here.

If you have asked forgiveness, You are already forgiven. Now you have to work on *Trust and Obey.* Avoid people and places that will tempt you. Go to a church service. Connect with people who have their lives on track. Find a good role model and try to emulate that person. Please get professional help. Life can be so much better!
I am praying for you right now.

Good luck in your spiritual journey, I often find myself falling away from my faith, especially when it seems as though I need it most. I am very sympathetic towards your situation, as my brother is very similar. I will pray for you both tonight.
