Call from two phones at the exact same time also not possible to connect at the exact same time. There must be some diff. of nanosecond. So which one reach first to the terminal, will reach the person first.

Hi
People here have given interesting answers!
For you to know, how it works when u call someone, u need to know the call flow & the time stamp imposed on each call in the exchange.
When you make call from a landline phone to another landline phone, the call goes from its local exchange to the central exchange. At both exchanges, the call is time-stamped.The dialled digits are processed and then the call is terminated to the target central exchange which futher terminates it upto the target local exchange and hence to the dialed person.
Now, the only difference posed on this call is by the time-stamp being put by the exchange timers.
It really depends if both the "calling numbers' are in the same central exchange or not. Also it depends upon the dialing method used i.e. "DTMF dialing" or "Pulse Dialing".
Assuming everything (ideally) going on at the same time from the "calling" user end, it depends upon the time-stamp on the "call attempt" in the exchange which has to terminate it.
So, the lower time-stamped call will be terminated first!
e.g. a call-attempt arriving in the exchange at 09:05:05:123 (hh:mm:ss:msec) will be analysed first and hence terminated than the one which arrived at 09:05:05:124 (hh:mm:ss:msec)
Hope this makes it clear for you!
