I'm 6'2 215 pounds.

I want to try something new and get away.

I would like the marines but I'd prob go airforce or navy unless I get in amazing shape.

Your height and weight aren't too bad. The Navy might be a problem height wise. Shipboard life means going through hatches where you have to duck and jump at the same time. If you do neither you are going to break your shins and crack your head open. This is especially true for tall people such as yourself.

Start running, doing push ups, sit ups and stretching. This combined with a good diet will get you the results you want. If you use tobacco, illegal drugs or alcohol STOP.

If you aren't in shape when you go to boot camp you will be VERY sorry and VERY sore.

Good luck!

The easiest requirement to satisfy for any military force is fitness. Anyone can work their way from being fat to being fit enough to pass a French Foreign Legion fitness test. If you think you can work effectively with a sense of urgency, get your fitness up and go for the Marines. Quite a lot of people aren't turned down by the higher fitness standards of the Marines so much as the way they'd great treated in boot camp.

The military will whip you into shape quickly whichever branch you join.

It doesn't sound like you are that out of shape, and should get into shape rather quickly after enlisting.

I think it's a very honorable thing you are considering, and ignore the liberal trolls who are going to try to discourage you.

Unfortunatley you will be fighting for their right to be anti-American idiots, so think of all the conservative hotties you will be fighting for instead.

Hopefully with the grace of God you will not be admitted into any military branch.

Willingly endanger your life for what? Your country? Ill tell you this kid if you want to help your country use your brain become a doctor, a professor, something worthy!
