I have lived in a few countries. Some are better than others but in general there is something good anywhere you look. I have lived in Europe & the tropics. It does not matter where you live there will always be somewhere that looks better - and also the more places you live in the more memories of good times in past countries you get & the less content you become.
It is nice to experience other countries but you start to lose part of yourself as you move from place to place.

No. Never.
My mom and dad and all my siblings migrated to Australia years and years ago and, at some point, were in chorus convincing me to settle there as well. I go and visit them quite often, but I never ever thought of actually living there.
I can not give up the comforts of having a household staff of maids, a cook, drivers, and a gardener. When I visit, they do everything by themselves - - - yet they are content with their lifestyle. I guess they have adjusted well enough.
As for me, I will enjoy foreign countries only as a visitor.
And live comfortably where I am.
And besides, I think I am better able to help my impoverished country by actually living here and contributing to its GNP.

Yes, I felt that the first time I saw pictures of Patagonia Argentina, an amazing zone in the South of Argentina. It's the place anyone would choose to live.

Yes. I wish I lived in Japan. Crime is insanely low. Elderly women walk around dark alleys at 2am in the morning with fistfuls of cash, people leave motorcycles/bicycles everywhere unlocked, etc.
Also, prostitution is legal (well, technically illegal, but they have 1000 loopholes in the law, so yeah, it's pretty much legal - example, you pay a "cover charge" to get into a building, then receive "free" services).
The food is great, the people are polite and nice, the girls are insanely cute, everyone is respectful.
Transportation is also very efficient and gambling is legal (again, technically illegal, but with 1000 loopholes - you can "win" tokens at slot machines, trade in the tokens for small gifts, trade in the gifts for cash!)

Yes, almost every time I have to use a public service I get the feeling I am in the wrong place.
How can the taxes be so high and the service so rubbish?
I live in the UK....

Yep, I've done it myself! I quit my job and moved to Poland and also to the Czech Republic. I think everyone should do something like that in their lifetime... but that's just me!
