Let me educate the masses...daddy long legs usually are NOT spiders (they’re also called harvestman and Opiliones) but they are from the same family...arachnida.
Right now is just the season from them to invade your home if you live in the right place…
You also have the daddy long-legs spiders which are cellar spiders (Pholcus phalangioides) but usually, people talking about daddy long legs are reffering to the harvestman because when those come out, they come out in numbers, hundreds, thousands of them, stacked on top of each others…you really cannot miss them…they’re just outside your house, in your garden, and a few of them will make it into your house (they’re harmless with an oval little body, just hanging on your ceiling and enjoying the view…or crawling on your carpet to watch you doing your stretching…)
So, just to be funny, since this if the Jokes & Riddles Category (and not the Home & Garden or Zoology Categories), I would call a female daddy long legs…
A female daddy long legs…as you do but it’s not funny.
A mommy long legs…too obvious.
A Patty long legs or a Sally long leg or a Kathy long leg or a Mary long leg or any similar sounding feminine name long leg…now we have to start to think…
A transexual long leg who used to be your daddy or a transvestite long leg who is still your daddy but does not look like him anymore…just prettier.
A little thing that is not a spider, just a harvestman…or a harvestwoman…so even if you have arachnophobia, you can just pick up that little thing by one of the leg and throw it out because it's not as scary as a spider even if it's still an arachnid.
