First thing, it's not safe to lose 120 lbs in 6 months. You'll definitely get sagging skin if you just go on a "diet' and no exercise!

A safer, healthier way to lose weight is to lose about 1-2 lbs per week. This is because if you lose anything more than this, you'll be losing not only fat but possibly also your skin, hair, nails, blood......

To achieve a 1-2 lb weight loss, try out this routine:

1. Cardio exercise at least 4-5 times per week, for 60 mins per esssion. This cranks up your metabolic rate to burn off body fat from your entire body

2. Strength-train with weights for at least 3-4 times per week, for 10-15 mins per session. This exercise boosts your muscle growth and as muscle is metabolically active, the more muscle you develop, the higher your metabolic rate, hence the more calories you burn.

For info, with 1 lb of muscle you pack into your body, you'll get to burn an extra of 50 more calories per day and on a weekly basis, you'll burn off an extra of 350 calories, without any additional effort on your part.

3. Eat a well-balanced, healthy, nutritious weight loss diet.

When you adhere to this routine constently, you'll lose weight safely and healthily. You won't have loosened skin. In fact, your skin will become taut and tight due to improved circulation, increased oxygen and faster waste/toxin removal due to exercise!

Try these out!

As for the excess skin, I reckon you can't get rid of it if you lose weight too suddenly. The only way is to exercise to get it taut and tight.
