Humanity is God to the canine species...canines have a real God they do worship and love unconditionally. Granted, a currently limited God, but neverthless, a real God that mostly provides for their needs, unlike the fictisious God man has created.
So from a spirtual point of view, Dogs are the most spirtual beings on earth because they are the only beings with a real God they acknoweldge and have a real relationship with, in fact, they are smarter than many humans in this respect. Also dogs worship humans, not based on faith, but based on real basis for acknowledging the superiority of man.
I guess only atheists, agnostics and dogs are smart enough to see mans potential for God status....dim-witted religionists still curse man and demonize him.

Dogs are a gift to man from Wepwawet the Wolf God for pharaoh and his army saving the mate of Wepwawet from almost certain death. Dogs were sent as guardians and teachers. The gift took so much of Wepwawets power that he became an altogether different God that we now call Anubis. Dogs do not worship us they are part of our families and we are part of their pack.
However we did at one time worship cats, a fact that the cats have never forgotten.

No dogs are not the most spiritual beings on earth. They are like all other animals. Humans are the supreme being here on earth. What makes humans different is that they have a soul.

No. The most spiritual beings on Earth are unseen by us. Maybe dogs see them though. My dog growled at a pair of boots my brother-in-law gave to my husband. (they weren't his either). We threw the boots out. Who wants boots that stink so much the dog growls?

Yes, I'd say I have to agree with you. Unconditional love. We should listen to our animal friends more. They have a lot to teach us about ourselves.
