Walking around my local supermarket I noticed a female staff member unloading a tray of fresh bread that she had just brought out of the store bakery.
She was wearing the staff uniform, which included a pair of black trousers, she bent down to stack the shelf.
I noticed two very large (obviously male) flour palm prints, one on each cheek. I was initially gob smacked , then I had a little chuckle and walked on. There were a couple of other staff women standing around, they had been watching my reaction and both started to giggle, they knew about it if course!
Like a coward I walked on.
Now I thought if amusing at the time, but what would the store manager have thought if he noticed it? More important what would I have said to this women?
Would you have walked on by or what would you have said to her?

The main qestion I seem to be getting here is "Whats it's got to do wth me"?
Good point I suppose, except that I would like some one to inform me if I was wandering around with my fly undone, preferably not a cop!!

I would have taken a photo to put on yahoo answers. You have officially let me down by not posting a picture link. Go back and get that picture!

I've seen similar things. Twice, I've seen a woman (not the same woman) with the back lower hem of her skirt tucked into the top of her pantyhose. I informed both women in those cases. In your scenario, I'd also tell her. But then, I'm a woman telling a woman...doing her a favor. It'd be more than a bit awkward for a man to do it. Can you imagine how that conversation might go?
Man: Excuse me, but you have two hand prints on your rump.
Woman: *SLAP!!!* Now you have one hand print across your face. *storms off in the opposite direction*
You may just want to leave it up to her female co-workers to tell her. OR, she can just find out about it later at home and come to the conclusion she shouldn't be fooling around with her paramour at work. ; )

Having been in similar (but definitely not the same) circumstances myself, I just lightly said, "you need a dusting off in back." If she had asked why (and no one ever has, so far) I would simply say, "hand prints."
The persons who should have said something to her (and may have done so later) were her coworkers. Laughing at her as they did, does mark them as immature and lacking the respect adults should have for each other.

I would have said something to her in a nice way.
There was one time I was standing in line at the store. A woman behind me in line tucked my shirt tag in that was sticking out!! LOL A shirt tag I would have left alone but, the hand prints on the butt, I definitely would have said something!

I would have walked on rather than embarrass her and if she has been dipping into the flour at work with somebody maybe she should get in trouble, think about this the same man who made the hand prints probably made your bread and didn't wash his hands.....

Okay...I most likely wouldn't have said anything since I didn't know the person. I guess you really weren't comfortable about telling her either.
My concern is....why are you so concerned about it? The fact that you are still wondering if you should have said something to her is a little different. It isn't like she was at risk of something bad happening...It's okay....relax.

just leave her, she wouldn't have got in trouble. they probably flour eachother all the time. in actual fact she probably knew the handprints were there and went out to the shop front for a dare or something. i'm pretty sure she would have felt it happen and perhaps just kept it on for a laugh.

Having worked for a supermarket, the Bakers are often pulling these types of pranks, so it is nothing unusual.

I can't believe you've even given this situation this much thought! I would have walked on by and not thought twice! Maybe I'm missing something here!

Maybe you should have said something. If someone had their hands on my butt, I would notice. God knows what goes on in peoples minds if they think it's okay to place their hands on a coworkers bottom.
