its not a coincidence animals taste goo, because we have evolved to desire a certain flavor that will benefit us.

Ask a spider why flies and other insects are so good. Ask a bird why bugs and worms do the trick for them. Ask a cat why the bird is so good. And ask a human why cooked meat is so good. And if you can, ask an alien why humans taste so good, then ask the angels why aliens taste so good and after all, ask God why life tastes so good... When He bluntly and abruptly says... because I created it to be that way... Why? If you have to ask you didn't hear or get His answer. Which in itself, one feels that sufficient reason lays in the actual communication with Him where no room for questions are needed because in the answer is all the fulfillment and content of His love and that to hear this voice is to be fulfilled with no more elaboration.

The same reason he made innocent bananas taste so good,
Why are animals innocent?

Food cycle!
Everyone cops it for everyone else. If you eat vegies you kill the vegie or at least destroy a part of it. If you eat animals they die too. If you just sit here, you absorb loads of microscopic lifeforms and kill them too!
Everyone gets consumed by something else. Thats the way it is!
As for tasty! Thats just because its to ensure you survive if there is no desire to mate, no more people, no desire to eat then no eating!

The answer is so that we would eat them. It is only when we decide for ourselves that we can survive without harming them, that we progress. I still eat chicken and when I eat it, I send a 'thank you' to the poor creature. I have no idea if this is enough, but surely the thanks does some good.
