it's around $200-$300, and I'm a guy that is circumcised. I highly recomend it. it's cleaner, and makes it a little more difficult to get diseases. Growing up every guy I have ever met teased other guys that were not circumcised. they were called "turtle neck" and other bad names. Get it done you'll be doing him a favor later in life. plus it makes it look bigger.

The right decision should of been when he was born. Now that he is 2yrs old his skin has thickened up.
Why now? Are you worried about not having the area clean. Has he had any issues, rash, plain when he pees?
If he is fine, let him be. He will learn has you teach him how to be clean. My son is 5 1/2 he has had NO PROBLEMS WHATS OH EVER!
One more thing My son still doesn't know how to clean well when he does a BM, so I help him,and each time I clean his "P" area by pulling a little bit of his skin back using a wipe. I DON'T TEACH HIM TO PULL BACK AT ALL. BUT HAS WHAT HIS DOC SAYS, ONCE IN AWHILE ITS "OK" My husband isn't circumsised and I got the advice from him too! And my husband has had no issue threw his 37 yrs so far nor I don't think he ever will!!!!
If you have any other Q's email me ( on my profile )I can try to give you more advice.

At this age you would be better off just leaving it alone. It would be extremely painful and traumatic for him at this point because something that he's been used to his whole life would change and he wouldn't know why. Also, he's at the age that he would remember this pain...when done shortly after birth the child has no memory of it. Since you didn't get it done when he was an infant, now would be the time that you should just leave it. Unless he's having problems such as urinary tract infections and such then there is no medical reason to put him through the trauma that a circumcision at this age would case.

For those answering that you shouldn't circumsize your son- I would agree- for those mentioning the pulling back of the foreskin to clean. This is incorrect information. It used to be the way to clean a infant/toddler's uncircumised penis- until research discovered it caused inflammation/infection and in some cases the boy would have to be circumised. For an uncircumised toddler you shouldn't touch the foreskin at alL! Just a little soap and water to the outside is all that needs to be done. The foreskin at this age shouldn't even be retracted- when its forsibly done- like I said it will lead to inflammation/ pain/ infection.
I would recommend you- not getting your circumised- he's no longer an infant- and he's probably closer to the age of potty training-. You wouldn't want to "hurt" him- which could stunt the progress of potty trainining. Also- its not something he is going to understand. If there is no medical reason (infections) and your doctor is recommending it to you-
I'd keep his lil' penis the way it is. My husband was never circumised and as far as being teased about it- it never happened.
When your son is older (after puberty the foreskin will retract naturally)... and if proper hygeine isn't used then (that's the age when you pull back the foreskin to clean underneath)- it could lead to infections. If he later on in life decides he wants it circumised than let him- but I would hold off on doing it now.

There are discomforts but there are also benifits. My son is 2 and about to have one done but mainly because it healed wrong after having it done when he was born so the are correcting it. If you can find a good reason insurance would cover it. Men who are circumsised have a lower risk of getting STD's and a lower number of cirvical cancer in their partners. Its cleaner and healthier because you dont have to worry about them not cleaning it right. Even though you teach a child to clean properly how many kids listen to their parents all the time? I thought originally even when my son's didnt heal right that after he was a couples weeks old nothing could be done but then I talked to his doctor and they said it could be. My step-mom just had her 4 yr done and he had no problems with having his done. he didnt mind it at all so you can do it at any time and its not too late. There is no proof that there is anymore discomfort to a newborn then there is to a older child. Thats like saying a newborn doesnt feel pain like everyone else and that is ridiculous. No one would have problems with colic or diaper rashes if they didnt feel pain.

you're effective. How vast you will get relies upon on testosterone ranges. the better the extra it grows. working example. Boys with micropenia (very small penis) are taken care of by putting testosterone cream on the penis or by injections. do no longer try this with out surgeon. the appropriate factor is to consume wholesome. culmination and vegetables. Pumpkin seed and Pistachios besides as different issues enhance testosterone ranges. consumer-friendly on the goodies. No smoking! How vast you get pepends on how vast your father and your mothers father is. it quite is the genetics that controls how extreme your testosterone point gets.

My son is 11 months old and every time I change his diaper I am GLAD I did NOT circumcise him. He is 100% pure and natural, just like the day he was born... circumcision is unnecessary unless medical problems arise. It is quickly becoming and outdated practice... Be wise, don't circumcise!

Unless he has issues with UTIs I would leave it. I had my son's done when he was 3 months old because he was a preemie and got repeat UTIs while in the hospital, and he has not had another once since and he will be 3 next month.

Just wait until he is 7 or 8years old the earliest, if you have not circumsize him during 1 month baby. Every 2 years old boy is kind of active and he will feel the pain severe if he does not know how to sit still.
Unlike babies, they are not walking yet. Just clean him by pull out his foreskin if you are concern about hygiene.

I have a 2 year old boy I chose not to have circumcised. Have never had any problems. I watched infants in nursing school be circumcised, they don't give them anything, just strap them to a board and cut away. Always seemed very unnecessary to me.

The first video I showed to my husband when we had this discussion about circumcision. The second is a link to other videos as well. If you are planning on doing this at least know what you son is going to go through, don't forget that he is older and it will be harder on him. Surely if you expect your son to go through it you can watch it?
