What qualificiations would I need to work at a large aircraft manufacturer like Boeing or Airbus?

to work directly with the planes...apart from test flying them...u would need the following titles and study in these fields:

- aeronautical engineering (to design 'em)
- air maintenance engineer (to fix em).

For the factory floor, NONE we hire people off the street. In the Offices, just about any related or Management degree will help you.

If you get an engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, etc) than you won't have any problems. Good luck!

Ps Try to work for TRW or Northrop (better companies in my opinion).
