I always go to bed with my laptop, my cell phone, and iPod in my bed. One of my friends told me this was bad to sleep with so many electronics near me. Is this bad? If so, explain please.

I put my laptop on hibernate when I sleep.
So, It doesn't ever get too hot.

I'm laying in bed typing on my laptop right now and I always sleep with my cell on my bed. I don't see the problem.

Ambient sounds and noises can keep you from a deep sleep or can actually wake you up. Other than that, they are perfectly fine.

I have heard this but actually the worse thing to have near your is a digital alarm clock. Because they are supposed to interfere with your sleep.

Unless you have heart monitoring equipment in your room you are safe, but the lap-top, if the vent gets covered, could overheat.

i don't see why..i sleep with my stereo on a shelf right next to my bed...my home phone and cell pone next to my pillow...and my ipod in its docking station on the same shelf...I'm fine

well yeah it could be... Laptops can get hot and could catch something on fire.

never been proven that electromagnetic fields cause disease. cant be too comfortable though.
