Being an Italian Mama....I think I was born with a spoon in one hand and a CD in the other...I love cooking and music....
I like to cook many different types of food..not just Italian but any ethnic foods that sounds good at the moment.....
Recently I visited a Vietnamese grocery store and bought some herbs that are not usually used in my kitchen....I had visited one of their restaurants and I fell in love with their grilled meats and veggies...it was so good a balance of spicy and sweet...and fresh...so I'm working on trying that style right now....but my "soul food" is southern country cooking...like "fried chicken, sweet potatoes, greens, cornbread and sliced tomatoes and cucumbers......and a big glass of ice tea with lemon and a slice of apple pie for dessert....that is what I really love....but deep down inside I must have my Italian food to live...or I'm not kicking!....like angel hair pasta with a rich chicken caccitore ...and a tossed salad and fresh Italian bread...and maybe some fresh fruit for dessert....
I could go on and on because I spend most of my time in the kitchen or reading cookbooks or shopping for something good to cook..it never ends because I won't let it end..I love being creative in the kitchen..feeding people and seeing a smile on their faces...and if they ask for more...I'm extra thrilled....Ciao ....Mama Jazzy Geri

i would rather prefer to be modest, so i'ld say i cook average. i took home econs for cooking and baking and still bake once in awhile. as for cooking, i do that on Father's Day, Mother's Day, and my mum's birthday. and yes, give me a recipe, and i can cook it :)

my favorite meals would be seafood pie, chicken pie, chicken stew, or spaghetti. i do have other favorites, but i better stop before i get hungry--i love food, though i'm not fat... :D

Yes, quite well. I think the braised lamb chops are my favorite meal. You cook the veggies with the chops and have everything in one dish. Yummy

I love to cook and bake. Sad thing is, is that you can't cook for just "two" people, so we are always sharing with the neighbors!

My fave is making baked macaroni and cheese from scratch, with french fried onions on top!

OMG, it is so good!
