i had a strange dream a while back...
i dreamed i was taking a nap on my couch (which is what i was doing in reality), and i heard some people outside my door. they sounded like they had been drinking, and i heard them say that they thought there was some kind of party at my apartment. i heard them coming up my stairs (i live on the second floor in a duplex), and for some reason, i was paralyzed with fear, and couldn't get off of the couch. finally, i got up the nerve to answer the door. however, the first guy was already starting to open the door on his own. in my state of fear, i ran to the door and kicked it as hard as i could, knocking the guy down the stairs, on top of the woman who was with him. after i got this done, i felt comforted enough to go back to my couch and go back to sleep. lol. that's when i woke up. does anyone have any idea what this bizarre dream might mean?

Sometimes dreams can seem to have an obvious meaning, but in reality, it has nothing to do with what it seems.
Your couch represents rest, relaxation, it is where you are most in comfort. You are in or have been offered an new opportunity, whether good or bad I don't know, but according to your dream you either don't like it, or it isn't all that good. You felt the situation out of control, so you assert yourself, and decide to not take the offer. You deny the opportunity, openly. Now that you have shown this assertiveness, you can relax. If you have not done this, and an offer has been made that you are very much uncomfortable with, say you are not interested. Deny the opportunity. Feelings in dreams means everything.
The fear that you felt in the dream meant that definately those people whoever they were, had a desire to put fear in you regardless of what they want/wanted to do to hurt you or just to scare you regardless of how it all started out. The fact that you couldn't get up off of your couch meant that they would do all they can to sustain you on your behalf. Most likely from knowing you.
When people are "partying" it simply means that they need some kind of assistance in doing what they had thought out to do which pretty much means pre metidated. I say thought because whatever it is they were/are to do is at the splurge of the moment. The thought comes from the fact that they know they want to do something, but dont exactly know what to do. The need of some kind of assistance as in drug parafhenilia, alchohol, or something that people do when "partying" to do what they got to do. Not being sober. (splurge of the moment).
The fact that they climbed up the stairs meant that they had to make there way into your life to do what they had to do. Most likely, you knew these people in some way shape or form that climbed up the stairs to get to your apartment, only because if they were people you didnt know or have never met, they wouldnt have to climb. To begin climbing in anything you must know what you are faced thence walk the walk. Other than that, if you didnt know these people they would be people that you ARE going to meet and little did they know they would walk with, is that coming to you out of their splurge of the moment they come to you and whether or not they know it, they would be bringing you some kind of harm in some way shape or form BECAUSE of the feelings you had in that dream. THE FEAR YOU HAD/HAVE.
If you know these people than it would be "HAD" because of the significance I told you of above. The "HAVE" comes from people you dont know because it is of future presence and future presence because you dont know these people. I say future presence because this dream shows that you already know, but hasn't happened yet.
The fact that you pushed the man down stairs is a good thing because when comes time for you to face these people you will be good and ready to take care of business that will set you straight on exactly what is going on in your life.
The man that you pushed down the stairs represents the fact that he will be backtrecking all the things that has happened up until that point when you pushed him down the stairs. The woman being on the bottom of him means that she will fall with him and will be powerless against him.
Maybe she had something to do with it in the first place, regardless if she had anything to do with it from the start. She will be powerless of anything that goes from the time she came into the story to the time she landed on the bottom of the man.

I think I know but maybe you'll not believe me, those people were the devils who like to come to your apartment while you make those parties (or maybe some other kind of sins) and maybe you don't really like doing it (In the reality or you're trying to fight some bad things) it's very good that you kicked them out,( I think you should know that parties where music is played loudly and where sins are committed freely is there favorite place).
Please forgive me if I'm wrong or you didn't like me answering you it's just that I like interpreting dreams.

I would guess and say you are afraid of being robbed or are not comfortable with your neighbors or neighborhood. The emotion that you emphasized most is fear. You are afraid of something or someone but you had the power to protect yourself.
