here is a hint.... if you combined hitler's estimated murder toll and doubled it, you would still have much more casualties on the christian side.

Well one reason that would be is because Hitler existed for a duration of one human life and Christianity has been around a lot longer. I could say Atheists have killed more people than Ted Bundy if I reason like that.
But I'd say the problem is "humans" not strictly Christians. Cuz you match up Christianity against a proposed atrocious figure who's not a Christian; aren't you recognizing that he's bad too?

In order to make it a fair comparison, you'd have to take ONE Christian in ONE period of time, say, six years. Hitler built the first concentration camp in, I believe it was 1939. Or at least, that's when he started to send Jews and other "undesirables" (according to HIM) there. Dachau was the first, and it was actually built in 1933, for "political prisoners." Anyway, so from 1939 (approximately) to 1945, about 6 million people were killed. Because of one man. That's a mind-boggling one million people a year!
Tell me, has ONE Christian ever done that? No.
So the answer is still Hitler.

This really isn't a fair comparison. Hitler was ONE person responsible for the deaths of millions. Whereas "Christians" is a broad term encompassing millions upon millions upon millions of people, so of course they would be responsible for more deaths.
To make a fair comparison, at least come up with one specific figure in Christianity.

Anyone who commits murder of any kind for any reason is not a follower of Jesus. Many people and denominations have claimed to be "Christian" but if they're murdering then they're not true Christians. Read it for yourself in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7

Ah but the Christians have been around a Hell of a lot longer than Hitler and there are a Hell of a lot more of them. No one has killed as many people as Hitler in such a short period of time.
