Love is a feeling of acceptance that is meant to be unconditional in one sense or another. Spiritual love total, parental or sibling love because you're clan and from there downwards you can see how conditions secretly enter.
Romantic love, on a fundamental level, is adulation or worship of somebody who worships us. Our (gender-)identity, the story that we tell ourselves about who we are (a man/woman/... who is worthy of total intimacy and to perpetuate humanity), is confirmed by somebody who is in need of our gender (for validation or theirs and procreation) and whom we consider worthy to decide this: somebody who is great, choosy, free. So long as they are great in this way and adore us, we forgive them anything (are attracted unconditionally); sometimes even that they intentionally hurt us.
That is why people can hate, hurt, kill others or themselves if they aren't loved anymore: their self-story is considered worthless for humanity. Romantic love, therefore, is the reaction to the relief from self-doubt ("Am I adequate as man/woman?").
If this is understood deeply, great compassion for human beings arises and one will treat people who love one with great care, like an unstable and sick person, rather than with too much reason. And one's own struggles to find love can be taken somewhat more humorously - ... sometimes :).

I have never been in love well i mean ...i love my mom but uh you know what i mean. So i am going to tell you what i think love is. Well lets see where do i begin love is complicated it makes you blind sometimes it makes you totally unaware of anything bad about that person the thing about love is that you can love someone and hate them at the same time. That's the hard part when you love someone you can never stop its everlasting like Salene said. In the case that you fall out of love it probably means you were never in love to begin with. In my opinion love makes a person do crazy things and when your in love you are totally oblivious to everyone around you and the end of the world could come and you wouldn't even know it because you would be away from everything bad like you are in your own world an entire universe to you and the one you love this is what i think love is. Only you can tell when you are in love. Don't let anyone make the desicion for you. I you feel you love the person, but can't stand them at the same time that is considered love also. The love you want to look for is everlasting. You want there to be a deep connection betqeen you and the person. So matter love crummy things gets you guys will always have your love. Love is an emotional exitement that appears automatically to any body of any sex and any age as well as to any thing. When you think of any, it creates an emotion within you. The positive emotion is called love and the negative emotion is call hater. A matured love sustains more and gives us long lasting pleasure, but a teen love hardly sustains or you can say, does not sustain and also, it hurts us.

There are several types of love.
Being "in love" is sex drive and worthless except for making babies.
When you love someone who you are not "in love" with , that is the person you should marry.
I never experience true love until I had a baby girl. She is 7 months old and I would truly die for her.
