I agree with you. I feel really bad for him. But atleast he has Kenny and the whole nine team behind him. I met the team earlier at the Pepsi 400 in the Fanzone and they were laughing and joking around with me so their morale isn't in the drain. They will all pull it together and things will be back to normal for them in no time. Kasey will come back because he is not a has been. He is a very talented driver with a bright future ahead of him. They might even pull it together at Indy!!! He has run really well there in the past!!! ^_^

Good driver, bad manufacturer this year.

The top 20 in standings are made up of:
65% Chevrolet Teams
20% Ford Teams
15% Dodge Teams

While everyone has focused on Toyota, this has been an ugly year for Dodge, and not much better for the Fords. These things go in cycles though. Kasey's a good driver so he may be down now, but I don't think he'll stay there. I just don't think it's going to happen this year. (It's the car, not him) You should be proud of you favorite driver! A lot of people would be thinking about abandoning ship in his position, but he's already said he's not going anywhere. I like his determination and loyalty. It's years like the one he's having that show who the real racers and fans are.

Kaseys not a has-been! I feel bad for him, and his crew. They all work so hard and they have nothing to show for it. But thats just the way racing is. Hopefully this new deal Evernham has will turn everything around. I think that some people who dont like Kasey, say hes a has been, or that he looks girly or young, are just jealous or scared that hes going to come back and beat out there favorite drivers. All of us real fans know its going to happen! It always does.

GO KASEY KAHNE!

whoa.......lots of people here getting fired up about this question ..........

heres my perspective on this..........

having driven race cars and currently working on the crew of a modified here in upstate ny i've encountered and dealt with frustration of not being fast enough i can tell you that what you were hearing from kasey was just that...frustration.......when you know what type of equiptment the team is capable of giving you and then to go out and be as bad as they have been it really takes a toll on you , he wasnt mad at the team
he was voicing his frustration , they may need to move a few people around and maybe even change crew chiefs for awhile just to get a little spark going but it is mostly like ray evernham has said already .......they just arent figuring out the new goodyear tires yet and they werent as prepared as they could have been with the COT , i think now that they are heading back to the tracks they have already run this year they will be better since they have some idea of what the tires and the COT will be like at those tracks

ok a little story of how i know what i am saying..........

last year we won the track championship here at our local dirt track, didnt win a ton of races but were consistent enough and never finished worse then 5th in 28 races , this year we have all the same team doing all the same thjings that they did last year only diff. is a new chassis combination then we ran last year because the driver felt last years car just wasnt a winning combination , in the beggining of this season we ran lousy for the first 5 races and we had a number of days when the driver would come in and be very upset and would holler and tell us we werent giving him what he needed to win or even run competitive , now ......knowing that he was very frustrated and we were also , we just listened and said things will be better next week.......now ........12 weeks into season we have won 5 races , finished no worse then 6th and are running 2 tracks a week and are leading points at one of the tracks.......does the driver still get frustrated when the car isnt great.......yes..........do we get frustrtaed when he doesnt get a top five or better..........yes.........but it doesnt matter because we know we are a good team and he's a good driver

so........... they will work this out and they will win again it just takes everything being right ............and nascar is a whole lot harder then a little dirt track..........

I do feel for kasey, He is a great driver with a lot of talent, unforentually EMS just dosnt have a handle on the COT cars, and they cant support running both cars right now. Kasey is looking on the positive side though!!! I think he will be back next season and better then ever!

Can't feel all that bad for him, again Dodge changed the nose on the car, his team is sufferening through growing pains and this is not his year...but...looks like Kasey will get a sponsership form Bud for next year and his team is about to fall into some big time cash from Everinghams partner ship with the Gillette family...a little cash and some help for his team...he'll be back to the Kasey of 06 we all know and love.

this year just grin and bare it...ask any Nueman or Kurt Busch fan what it;s like to cheer for a lame duck all year!

I feel bad for Kasey because I know he is capable to do so much better it`s just Ray E is just not giving him the equipment he needs,I think RER has gotten behind with the new nose on the car and COT ,just have to get those engineers to get on top of things.
right now Kasey is like how Dale Jr was in 05 good driver just not have equipment to race well.
maybe even time to change crew chiefs ,it`s not just Kasey , Sadler is not having a good year either and Scott Riggs has missed lots of races.
Kasey is usually one of the fast cars up on the high groove.

Kasey is a class guy who's just having an off year. My driver is Stewart but I have always liked Kasey. Don't worry, he'll bounce back.

Well I think whatever kind of year a driver drives is the kind of year he deserves... but I do feel sorry for him. He is supposed to be one of the guys battling Stewart, Johnson, Gordon and Earnhardt... one of the big names.
I hear they are working on the COT and nothing else... but they have not ran well in those cars either. Evernham had better get it together soon or things will start falling apart.

Don't worry. I know he didn't exactly sound like himself on Trackpass today, but it was a really off day. They're going to spring back, I just know it. I feel so bad though; the whole team is working so hard, but they're getting minimal to no results this year.

Kasey's strong. He'll be just fine.

OMG, where are all the rude people coming from lately? Seriously! Kasey is not a has-been!
