Whoa - awesome question!! I have not heard a pro-life and pro-salvation statement made in such a powerful way. Good job!! I agree with you 100%. The concept of choice means just that - we have a CHOICE. Nothing is mandated. When we have the freedom to choose, with that choice, we are choosing to accept whatever consequences will follow from our choice. When we choose to abort a child, we are choosing to accept the consequence that a person will die, that we may have guilt that might never be satiated, that we could suffer health repercussions from complications of an abortion and on and on. When we choose to reject Christ, we are choosing to accept the consequence of that choice, which is to say to God that we are okay with Him sending us to hell, for eternal separation from Him. The funny thing is, people today are all about having the freedom to choose, and "live and let live", yet when it comes to the consequences of their choice, that they know IN ADVANCE will happen, they want to blame God, as if HE made the choice for them.
You presented this subject very well. Kudos to you!!

Choice is a word that taken in a litely sense it's like the word I love you it's thrown around with no responsibility attached to it, but actually choice means to know exactly what you dealing with, the in's and out's so to speak, that's why before getting a yahoo Id, we must read through all that legal paper work and fine print, then click on agree! before they will give you a password, and ID, and any company that has good policy and procedures do this, if they don't want to get sued. However in life' most times in the everyday world, of dealing with family, and friends; we don't sign off or agree, we react look at this word and break it down re--act sometimes bitterly, sometimes emotionaly, sometimes happily, and all in between. The prefix re in most cases means again" so it's like being sent back into time! again without a time machine, and majority of the world has know idea this is happening to them, their just going along for ride, without even thinking about the word, choice at all they are just acting out someone elses reaction, which is in fact handed down to them, and the worst part of this is it may be your parents! and if you don't believe me, look at a Alcholic parent, and child or some other situations like education, in a family history, or money it's a vicious cycle, therefore we must look at the whole word before we can make a choice, because choice carry's a huge amount of weight, sometimes we don't even know what other people are dealing with when they decide to make a choice, because a person may have hidden anger, shame, loneliness, or many other unresloved issues, look at battered women, and their choices, do you think they made clear choices? therefore we need a clear mind, and a loveing hearts toward ourselves, and the only real way to make good choices is allow GOD to intervene in our choices, because bad choices hurt lives, where as Good choices, can enhance lives. So your question is not silly, if everyone would find out what they were fully dealing with, before makeing a Choice, the world would be a better place.

I am confused. Are you asking about abortion or choosing Christ or both? I'm not being mean, I really want to understand your question. To answer your main question, I would say--the word choice= "a decision to choose one thing, person or course of action in preference to others." (Encarta Dictionary). I think you are probably looking for a more in depth answer but your question is so garbled that this is the best I can do. Personally, I make choices everyday according to my conscience and personal convictions--- as we all do --Blessings.

This isn't about word definition.
Pro-Choice is a legal right for women to choice whether to carry a child or not. This is a private matter between a woman and her doctor, between a woman and her God.
Pro-Choice and pro-life are not biblical. There is no verse that specifically address either point. The concept that conception creates a human being is not biblical; the bible is clear that life is determined by blood.
Are you pregnant? If not, you made no choice. As for Jesus, Jesus was a rabbi and he did not teach anything regarding abortion. If anything, Jesus believe in the Rabbinic tradition; however, we do have an explicit example in verse John 8:11.
So the next time you claim you have accepted Jesus, then follow what Jesus taught, hate the sin, but love the sinner.

Yep. "what a ridiculous question"
I never chose not to believe in the Invisible Sky Critter; I was lead to the logical conclusion by the absence of ANY evidence to support belief in the existence of any Invisible Sky Guys.
I'm sure you're secure in your psychosis but that doesn't make the psychosis any less insane.
I doubt you'll find any free-thinking, freedom-loving, unenslaved, Atheist blaming any Invisible Men or Women for any imagined choices, made or unmade.

You are given the right to chose what you want, you just can't have it both ways.
You are either against abortion or for it. This is just an op-ion if you are pregnant, then you have a choice. You either believe in Heaven or Hell, you wont really know until you die.

Because "God" gave all of mankind a gift. And that gift was free will. We can choose to believe or not to believe. Point blank and simple. Sorry.
