A Jeff Gordon fan has said today that my driver must suck because i was so happy he took 4th from Jimmy Johnson in points.

Unfortunatly there are "FANS" here that think if you like drivers other than a certain 4 or 5 then you are wrong,so be the case.
I have pulled for Jeff Burton since he was a rookie and to see him at this point in the standings is great.

I'm a Gordon fan and happen to like Burton more than I like Johnson..... I think Burton is a Class Act and more driver's should be like him... His time for a championship is coming soon and as a driver, he has always been fair on the racetrack..... Not all Hendrick fans are obnoxious !!!

How many other active drivers have won a race after leading a race from lap 1 ALL the way to the checkered flag?
Only Jeff Burton. Last driver to do that was Cale Yarborough in 1978. So, nobody can argue with us Jeff Burton fans about that one! Also, not to mention the rest of his record at NHIS.
Whoever told you that must had been a Johnson fan who was mad because Johnson dropped from 4th in points to 7th, and now Burton is up to 4th. To say a driver sucks because they are 4th in points.. it's obvious that person was just jealous of Burton, and probably RCR as a whole.
Keep moving on up the points ladder JB!!!

I wouldnt let it bother me. Any driver thats in any of the NASCAR series is there because they are best drivers in the country. Not to mention fourth in the top series, so i would just blow it off and forget about it. Im not a Burton fan, in fact theres only a handful of drivers I cheer for, but i have respect for all of them just for the fact that they are there and im not.

Ok A. Its Jimmie Johnson..
and no its not right to say any driver sucks, because if they are a high profile driver like Johnson and burton who is in 4th in pts then they ovbioulsy dont suck because they have made it to NASCAR nextel cup series.
Granted everyone has their opnion. So if he thinks your driver sucks, then let him. More of that driver for you to cheer for!

Who cares. Jeff is now 303 up in points. By the time of the Chase he will be up by 500 and then they ( Nascar ) will take it all way and one of the loafers will end up Champ. What a system. Only in America or NASCAR, could the best driver lose the Champ because of some silly rule that B France and his cronies came up with. If not for the CHASE, Gordon would easly win 10 Champs. And thats a FACT. He is the Cream of the Crop. The best damn driver out there BAR none. He has proven that year after year.

I don't think it's cool to say negative things about ANY driver.Sure sometimes they ALL do do dumb things from time to time but they all make Nascar.Jeff Burton is one of my top 5 favorite drivers and he doesn't suck. I was extremely happy when he went to RCR and started doing good. I hope he finishe 3rd in points this year right behind my other favorite drivers !!! ( :

Jeff Burton is a great driver,so is Tony Stewart,so(unfortunately) are the guys at Hendrick.I just don't happen to like any of the Hendrick guys.I guess that their fans feel the same as I do,I want my guy to beat their guy and I hate it when he doesn't.

i have an opinion of johnson but people will not like it so i'll keep that to myself but for your question, if you truly like your driver, you won't let what everyone else that bashes your favorite driver thinks about them, i'll give you an example. my favorite driver is kasey kahne, kasey is 24th now in points, people on here are saying he sucks, do i think he sucks, hell no!! am i going to give up hope on him for one bad season, hell no!! do i think he can come back and win a couple races, hell yeah!! so if you are truly a fan to your driver, you'll stick with him no matter what anyone says about him or how they do that season.
