My boyfriend and I have gone through a rought patch recently and I really just want to give him something that signifies my devotion to him. If I were the guy in the relationship, lol, I would think it was the perfect idea to give my gf a promise ring right now...but since I am the girl, I'm having a really difficult time coming up with an idea for what I could get him that has the same meaning. Something he can keep with him, because I'm leaving for school in the fall, and I really want him to have something to remind him of my promise to him while I'm gone. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

i say a necklace. he can wear it every day if thats what he desires and when he wears it he'll think of u. give him some bling bling! give him something he'll remember forever. i dont think ure trying to buy him off ure just trying to keep the relationship going when ure gone. good idea.

I thought a promise ring serves as a reminder to save your viriginity until marriage, and not to pledge your devotion to a person..... lol!

And in answer to your question, I'm entirely at a loss as to what to suggest.

a bracelet can work if its not too girly. he would have to pick it out though. probably gonna be not much more than a piece of string :p

Why not just keep your promise and prove to be an honorable person instead of trying to buy him off?
