The Roman Catholic church wouldn't mind if the Atheist agreed to have the children raised in the Church. However, there would be no sacraments or music at the wedding ceremony.
The Atheist shouldn't mind because the whole church thing is irrelevant anyway. The kids can be taught Atheist rationality and logic at home.
It would be a shame if the Christian God could not accept love and marriage of two people who love each other. However, on second thought, the christian Gods attitude toward gay and lesbian couples makes it very clear the Christian God doesn't give a damn about love.

Ha ha. My mom was a catholic and my dad, an atheist-I mean a true atheist liberatarian anarchist cook book type. They were married for 17 or 18 years and it wasn't religion that broke them up. I would say they could be married, but why would they want to?

They can, in civil rites. Nothing keeps two persons of different faiths from marrying each other although no church wedding for them. As to how God will accept this kind of marriage without any blessing from a priest or an elder, we exactly don't know. What the bible says regarding marriage is that marry in the Lord which practically means, marry in the same faith.

An Atheist can be married to a Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, to anyone, from any walk of life. It is their relationship. How it functions is up to them.

Not at the Catholic church they can't!
No I think you've picked two of the crabbiest and stubborn stances on religion. I think they would end up all "War of the Roses" and try to kill each other.
God, I believe doesn't care one way or the other.

I wouldn't marry a Catholic simply because I know we'd fight all the time.

God says "Be ye not unequally yoked " and that means that an unbeliever and a believer should not get married or they are setting themselves up for destruction.

Yes they can. The two people can find happiness in each other from what they see and know from what is inside of them. It is the heart and soul that bring two people together.
God can and would accept this because God is of heart and soul Himself.
