Look it is impossible to prove that he exists. Then again its also impossible to prove he doesnt either. Yes it is their enviroment growing up and their family. Some do believe it for themselves and it truly makes sense to them, and others just cause thats how its always been with them. Some people believe in him cause theyre really lonely and feel hes always with them so they kind of need some company. Some need some inner peace and find it through some kind of religion. But no I cant give you any reasons as to why I believe in god. Im actually not very religious by the way and kind of only really believe in him cause I dont wanna go to hell. By the way they also call it faith for a reason, Im guessing its cause you dont know if its all for sure or not and you just gotta have faith that its true even though you could be wrong.

You have already said that there is no God. But I tell you that there is. Yes, it was proven to me, but God did the proving and you were not a witness to it.
I will line it up for you right here, you do not need to look any further. God only wants a remnant of who's on the Earth. None of us would have come to Him unless He led us to Him. He does that by His Spirit. The words from people that I used to hear had an effect on me, and the only reason why the effect was positive was because He was leading me to Him.
Those who are not led in that way are not being drawn to Him. He will most likely give you no proof. If you ever are finding that you are wanting to know God, then He is drawing you in.
All this I can prove Biblically, and I know Him through His Spirit. Those two sources are where to find God, His word and His Spirit. If you find yourself believing even less after I have told you, go. Have a good life, but don't waste your time trying to figure it out. You will fail.

I love Him and He gives me so much hope and happiness the kind that nothing else can do.
I was raised in a Christians family in Scandinavia but my parents never really talked to me about God. When I grew up, I walked away from my childhood faith.
My life looked really good from the outside but I was longing for something. If you have a change to take the part of the "Alpha " study at your church or somewhere else, that is very helpful. Many people around the world have got a lot of help with that for understanding what the personal relationship with Christ means.
I had a hunger for my God's word. I started to study the Bible in a small group, the Purpose Driven Life totally changed my relationship with my Lord.
I love my Lord because He came to this earth and walked the walk, gave us the example and made sure that everyone who will accept Him as Lord and Savior will go to heaven after this life here.

I believe in God. Evidence: All of nature. It's hard to imagine that all of nature just happened (evolution.) Things are just too well designed, too complex, too much variety to have just came into being for no apparent reason. Nature, life itself tells us that there had to have been a "master mind" behind all these things. Salvation. The person Jesus is recorded in history. Not just in Christianity but in other faiths too such as Muslim, Hindu, etc.. Christianity puts the God/person of Jesus in proper light. He died to forgive our sins. As God AND Man He is and was, the only one able to do such a thing. People eye WITNESSED His death. His grave (tomb) is empty. He defeated death just as we will on the last day. People eye witnessed that He was alive again and many people witnessed His ascension back to Heaven. He preformed miracles. Miracles that have never been reproduced by anyone. He is the author of the 10 commandments. Some are rules, some laws even to this present day. ( they all should be our personal moral laws, but what can I say?) It took over a thousand years for the Bible to be written by many different contributors. If the Bible were fiction, why so many writers and why over such a long period of time? Have you read any other book that took that long to write, covered that many subjects, had that many authors?? There must be something to it. I'd say the above give reasons and proof. Can anyone give 100% proof, proof positive, no question about it, that the sun will come up tomorrow? No, I don't think anyone can give that PROOF. But do you think that it will? I think it will, but I can't prove it. Best wishes. God bless.....

This is a tough question that many Christians, including myself, struggle with. See, faith doesn't alway come with evidence.
When a person opens his or her heart to Christ in the privacy of his or her own bedroom, that person just knows something wonderful happened to them. It's not always evident to the world (especially these days), but it is enough proof to that individual.
I can't offer you any more proof than the obvious "look around you" answer. Nature proves of God's existence (which the bible says it does). But is that enough proof for you? I doubt it. For me, watching the pieces of the bible prophecy "puzzle" come together in these last days provides ample proof. Other would just disregard it as coincidence.
I don't know what to tell you. But here's a thought. What do you have to lose by opening your heart to Christ yourself? Why not just do it in faith, without proof, and maybe the proof will come? If you do it in privacy nobody has to know and you can still call yourself an unbeliever or atheist or whatever (if you still want to).

I believe in God because I sense it in my heart when I look at nature or interact with another person. Then as I walk with God, there are all kinds of things that confirm his presence. For example, one day I was walking to work and along the way, I had a strong sense that I was going to be used to speak to a person. This has never happened to me before, I said aloud, "God you are going to use me to speak to someone". I walked into the greeting area of the restaurant I was waiting tables at the time and the manager says, "sorry John, we're slow today, we don't need you to come in". I say okay and walk out the door thinking that I was going to have to repent for being a false prophet. Then I hear the manager calling me back in. This was a foul mouthed lustful heathen of a man, the last person I would expect to hear the gospel. He takes me into the corner of the restaurant where no one can see and tells me that he heard I was a christian and wants to know if his baby baptism was enough to get him into heaven. I explained to him the gospel and how a person needs a relationship with God, not a religion. I have similar stories, all that clearly confirmed to me that God has a presence in my life.

When you have faith you don't need evidence...thats why its called "believing" and "having faith" people that don't believe are considered to not have any faith. Faith is the evidence of beleiving in something we do not see. I am not saying YOU have to believe in GOD, but if others want to you shouldn't have a problem with it. I would rather live believing in God, and die to find out there is no GOD; then to live not believing and die to find out there is a GOD. People don't understand that you dont need evidence to know God exists. I pray and things happen and thats how I know he exists.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see

I believe in God because of my study of the Bible. I took the time to research and learn about him and his purposes.
I can't help but look at the world around me and believe that he exists as well. His creation is truly amazing. Taking the time to learn about nature and how everything works perfectly together has really helped me appreciate what a wise and powerful creator we have.
I am not one for "blind faith" I needed evidence and proof.

When I turned my life over to God, things happened just as He said they would.
I've lived a life with God, and without God. I noticed a big difference without Him. There's only so many times I could say things were coincidences, before I admitted it was God at work in me.

Yes, I believe in God because I have always felt this presence in my life since as long as I can remember. The God I know is a loving, protective, peaceful presence that comes when I request it in my darkest hours or in the joy of Life around me, in the presence in nature or the laughter of friends. Requesting assistance has saved my life more than once, as well as the miracles of others I directly know. It is the inward inspiration to my creative projects and the guiding force to my daily activities. I have been shown how life is a blink in His eye, but we are each so beloved as His children. We can be a grain of sand in the ocean but each uniquely connected, beyond our comprehensions. We each must find our own center of Truth within ourselves. We can share our journey with you, but only you can find yourSelf.
