Here's the story ... I dated this guy for almost 3 years. He left two months ago without saying a word to me. The night before he slept in bed with me, we have a normal conversation. The day that he left - He kissed me goodbye when I went to work, said he would see me when he got home. With all intentions of leaving that day. Now .. We just had previously bought a new house together. He gave me the excuse that he was stressed out - I'm guessing financially. When he left he wouldn't even talk to me for about 3 days. I had no clue what was going on with him. We never fought or anything - This is why I was like What the hell just happened ?! So anyways, when he did finally talk to me in person - He gives me the line that he didn't like the area and he never got to see his friends. So why couldn't he have sat down and told this to me in person ? I'm not by any means a "witch", and I'm pretty mature and would have taken it more lightly if he would have just be straight up honest.

Just for the record - We was engaged. And to make it worse, I'm 3 months pregnant with his child. Please no rude comments about the pregnancy. He said he was going to be there for his child, but when the first appointment came around he had an excuse as to why he wasn't there. Now he won't even return my calls when I let him know about an up coming appointment. So I've just stopped calling completely. I just didn't want him to make the comment that " I'm not letting him be part of this." I really didn't want to bring this up, but this is why I am really blown away by the situation. It's like I think about him, thinking he was my best friend - and that was gone within' a day and now I don't even know him at all.

Obviously, that is most likely a lie. You are right, if that was the case he shouldn't have had shame at all in mentioning how or what he was feeling. You have the right to be upset.

Theres a VERY SLIGHT chance hes telling the truth, but hey, if he can't be honest about something like that, theres either not enough trust and the fear to be up-front. Maybe you should end it, i think thats a really pathetic excuse for him to use.

well it sounds almost like he got cold feet. And then when he wouldn't even talk to you about it. It seems like he needs to mature some. It sounds like you made a mistake on buying the house with him. Hope that your house payments are too huge.....Anyways good luck.

You bought a house with a guy you're not married too? That's funny. Hoped you learned something from this. First you get the commitment (marriage) then you go for the big purchases.
