There are nut cases who claim to be whatever and have stupid explanations for their actions. They could as easily said 'we have become blond and believe everyone should be, but most of these people are not.' Makes just as much since. Their actions have nothing to do with Christianity. It has everything to do with wanting an excuse to do something they want to do.

They are no more Christian than Hitler was. Just because someone says they are Christian does not make them so. The fact that you asked this question tells me you really don't know what a Christian is and only go by stereotypes.
