Does anyone but me see the irony in this quote about our undocumented immigrants?

This was an answer to one of my other questions given in defense of our European ancestors who immigrated here. It's priceless. Enjoy:

"Please name ONE country in the world which wasn't invaded and changed by forigners at some time in history.
The past is the past and the winners make the rules.
We WON the right to decide who can come here and under what terms.
If we had lost, then it would be different.
That is the way the world has always worked."

Based on this logic, since we are being "invaded" by "foreignors" who are arriving here, living here, working here & staying here then they are the "winners" & we follow their rules? Or do they not count because they choose to do so peacefully instead of declaring a war & killing everyone?

well whomever wrote is an idiot first of all..

but, this is america, we're all foreigners... I hate hearing african american for they have been here longer than my family/ancestors from europe, and I'm not called anymore, irish-american, etc...

the way the world works is religion..sick, sick religions..

should we speak spanish in usa? well probably.. back in 1986 a teacher told me I should learn it...and there it was an all white town.. but that person saw the future i guess..
Now, I live where there are many foriegn speaking folk... heck other countries speak english fine.. why should we fat lazy folk learn another language for a change?

The quote is logical, your interpretion is not since inmigrants have not won the battle already.

I find the whole concept of the peaceful inmigrant hilarious. If you invade with an army you will be fought to the death. If you invade barefoot you'll be given access.

Why dont invade then without weapons? Bush should take notice on his next adventure in Iran. Instead of shock and awe he should move 100 million americans to Iran. Peacefully of course. Eventually the country would become another state.

Illegal mexicans and the ACLU are gonna destroy this country.

Companies are making way to much profit from the low wages Mexi's earn. Construction is the largest and most profitable from the illegalls from the south. Most construction jobs are bid by the JOB. (for example) A Builder will pay a crew $10,000 to frame a house. The Mexicans can have more guys working on a framing job because each one of them will take a smaller piece of the $10,000.......than say a white crew. I have seen 8 man framing crews(Mexicans) and I have seen 5 man crews(whites).
Also if the Mexicans have more men working, than they will finish the job sooner, and they can start the next house. Mexicans also have alot of people living in the same house or apartment, so they dont require a higher wage. I have known Mexicans that have 6-8 people living in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment, or 10-12 people living in a 4 bedroom home.

Another point that I would like to make is that the Catholic church is profiting BIG time from Illegals. Mexicans are Catholic and they do attend church.

And what about all the money that is made from the jobs that they work at in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA that they send home to their families in MEXICO. That money is made in America and it should be put back into our economy.
It has got to be a HUGE amount of annual dollars that leave our economy.

I could go on and on and on and on, but that is all for now.
Our government has got to take control of this or we will all suffer big time in the future, the Whites, Blacks and Asians.

Alot of Americans are getting sick and tired of Illegal Mexicans slowly turning this country against itself.
I love forums like this were we as Americans can gather and discuss our country.
Most people are way to PC to talk openly about this problem....but believe me, they feel it inside.

What people like that fail to realize it that once their American children and grandchildren become of age to work, they'll have to work at lower wages for longer hours in poorer conditions--because illegals have depressed wages due to their low pay requirements and have created a labor SURPLUS. Whenever you have an labor force in excess, the employers get to call the shots; not the workers.

Also, they don't realize that their children--unless they can afford a good private school--will get a lower and lower standard of education due to the increase in children of illegal immigrants who are not valued by the school boards. Once they are here long enough to actually become just like other Americans, they will fail to empathize with anyone else but themselves.

to some extent, this person is making a correct point
there is no question that illegal immigrants are invading this country. they come here and are beginning to make up a large part of our population and our workforce, also, as they get married and have kids, there american born children are given the right to vote, giving huge amounts of hispanics power in elections and our everyday life

I dont think that anything wrong will happen....I was brought to Mexico, when my parents fleed Germany, 38 years ago, and I came to "invade" and "infest " Mexico....now I am a respected citizen. I am a doctor, I got two sons, and my PhD......so, in fact, much of the ideas of "invasion" are quite similar to those of my Nazi ancesters.....(like those ideas of American C that wants to kill us all....its not that easy you know?? you need our OK, or we will end up hating him)
No one wants to destroy America here in Mexico, and I am sure, nor from centrao or south America (they are Americas too, you know).. (the United States better said), because simply, there is no point....what woud be the purpose??? destroying our best cultural and economical ally???
Lets rethink about "invasion", and other paranoid ideas,,,,,,,

I think the PC use of "undocumented immigrants" is ridiculous. Lets call it what it is. Illegal aliens. If they were immigrants in the true sense of the word, they'd have documents. If they don't have documents, they are not immigrants but aliens here illegally..

If you mean illegal aliens then please say so. It's ironic all right, it will be more so when they are deported as barefoot as they came. We can't support the whole world and those who try to force their way in illegally are the ones who deserve nothing.
