Like the people at my local church keep sacrificing goats.

The only law Jesus took away, is he became the sacrifice for our sins so we would not have to sacrifice animals for sins any longer. He did not take away them all though
(Mathew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.)
Well, the earth is still here so the laws are still in effect.
But if they sacrifice goats that is weird so I would say its a cult and I wouldn't go back

Some Christians do try to live by the Old Testament. But there do not pay attention to the truth.
Peter said it one time:
Acts 15
7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He made no distinction between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.
10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."
So the truth is fleeting for many who call themselves Christian. The real question is: What will you do, now that you see it?

One need not do the customs of the old testament, but they have to follow the truth in the old testament. The old testament is the shadow of the new testament. Jesus is our sacrifice, so no other sacrifice is necessary. May be those who sacrifice are not knowing this truth. If they understand they will not do this. I think you know the truth, kindly explain it to them so that they may understand and not do that.

What True Christian Religion Sacrifices Goats? God sent his Only Begotten Son to be the Ultmate Sacrifice, therefore man had NO Need to make any sacrifices anymore!

Probably because they don't like the way the New one ends and are trying to live more in line with the Old one in order to be on the right side at the end.

Well, blood sacrifices were done away with Christ's atonement for our sins on the cross. He was the type and shadows to come. The OT is necessary for many reasons, the Law, revealing the character of God, prophesy, historical, people, places.

Jesus already spilled His blood and by doing so He did away with all blood sacrifice once and for all. His blood covers all of our sins, past, present and future. Simply believe Christ Jesus is God Almighty and ask Him to do His works in your life. This is Gods way.

Whorshiping christ as a god is it self a sin. it is a violation of the very first commandment " i am the lord thy go and thou shalt take no other gods befor me".
